I received a text message from 202-753-9495 which contained the following. This is to inform you that we have received a case to take strict and strong action against you and take you down into custody from your employment tomorrow by 11:00 AM. You can contact us back at 347-960-6497 ASAP failing which we will not be responsible . FBDA investigations division." Is there anyway to stop these creeps?

I just got a text from the same number stating that some officers are coming to pick me up at my office of employment at 11:00. after I called him back we went through a long conversation and I told him that I would pay him a small amount just to get a response. He said he would accept the small payment and that would stop the Police but he also said he couldn't take my credit card or debit card because the tried and it didn't work due to lack of funds. He told me I would have to go to a Wal-Mart and get a pre-paid debit card to make the payment. I think I will just wait for the police tomorrow.
Of course they did NOT! This is a scammer calling. Even if you did owe money, they would be civil. The police take care of criminal acts. Also you are NOT warned if a summons is coming and can not buy your way out of receiving it..
The caller is hoping to scare you. Ignore him.
