I just received a call from 213-141-5163 leaving a message to call back at 347-980-7680. Don't believe if they tell you that a law suit has been issue against you, the IRS will need to provide this information in writing.
Called from number 213-141-5163. A semi-angry male/computerized voice said he was from the IRS and a lawsuit was being filed against me. He said to call the number 347-980-7680 to resolve the issue. I didn't call back. Fraudulent fools.
same as others,,second time i received a call saying wanting to get hold of me to for a lawsuit.. every dealing i have ever had with the irs is done by mail. so i know this is a scam.. glad to see this on the web.
Got a similar call telling me I made a mistake on my returns from 2008-2013 and that I owed 2400.00. I asked him to repeat his name because his accent was very heavy. He said his name was David Lee, I then asked him where he was from and he said San Antonio, badge #IRS12467. He then said he was going to read something to me and asked that I not interrupt until he was finished. He then asked if I intentionally filled the forms out incorrectly or if I made a mistake. I responded there were no mistakes, I had not received anything in writing from them and he wasn't getting s--t!!!! Hung up the phone,
