This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call list in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by refusing to provide an address or phone number when asked. They claim to be the United Stated Government Grants Department and that the victim has been awarded a $9,000 US Government grant. This is clearly not the case, as receiving this kind of grant requires applying for such a grant... Do not provide this scammer with any personal or financial information.
SCAM Caller with Indian accent stating he was with the Government TREASURY Department in Washington DC. Said he had $9000 grant for me which did not need to be paid back!
When I asked which government he said it sounded like I was busy and would call back later then Hung Up.
Got a call from 360-111-0000. Registered on my caller ID as "Invalid Number". I let it go to the answering machine every time. They don't say anything, but I can hear chatter in the background before they hang up. Getting to be a problem since I have received 4 calls in two days from that number.
Calling many many times a day!!! CRAZY!!! They want to talk about my education:))) free money that I never have to pay back! Lady with baaaad accent offer to "further my education". When I said I am already educated, they hang up. In an hour, another call! and another!!! where is the FCC??
