I received a voicemail from this number that states, 'The reason for this call is to inform you that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. To get more information on this case file, please call immediately on our department number 360-200-4562" 10 minutes prior to this call, I had received another voicemail exactly like this from another number 425-287-6073.
This automated system called me to inform me the IRS had been trying to get in touch with me. This was the final warning before they would proceed to file a lawsuit against me. They asked me to call 360-200-4562 immediately. Well, it rang and rang without an answer or answering machine... the next 3 times I called it was a busy signal. I am so glad I read some of these posts because I've had an issue with the IRS before. They are a HUGE pain to deal with, however this was NOTHING like my prior experience with the IRS. You will not receive a phone call before you receive a letter.
Received a robotic voice call re: Official call from IRS that they are filing a lawsuit against me. This is BS and a scam so I blocked their number on my phone and now they have called back with a differnet number 202-803-4318, but same exact line from a robotic voice call... the IRS does'nt call your cell to tell you they are filing suit against you. This needs to be stopped!
