Got a call from this number. At first they stalled before saying anything after I said hello twice. Then a woman asked to talk to me by name. I told her I was unavailable. She said she was calling to renew subscription for TV guide and would call back. Sounded like she was at home no background sounds as to where I thought it might be official. I can't wait to mess with her when she calls back for I'll give her a hard time by telling her to send an invoice or literature for me to 'send' her a check instead. Along with all the others on this thread, I get calls multiple times a day for the last two months. I have answered three times, haven't picked up on the others. One time they called to say I get to receive a federal grant...I started to laugh and they said...you don't want your money? I said no, I don't want my money and hung up. Today they said they were with publishers clearing house. I said remove me from your list, the guy said he couldn't do that... "He just works here." I hung up. I'm sure I'll get a few more before the day is done. I've reported them twice and am on the do not call list. This is ridiculous.
2nd call received in 3 hours. I didn't answer the first one but I answered the second time to cuss someone out. Just get a recording claiming to have something to do with the do not call list and asking for information. Why would the do not call people call me and pester me several times a day if they are supposed to be the watchdogs?? I just hung up.
