Got a call from this number. At first they stalled before saying anything after I said hello twice. Then a woman asked to talk to me by name. I told her I was unavailable. She said she was calling to renew subscription for TV guide and would call back. Sounded like she was at home no background sounds as to where I thought it might be official. I can't wait to mess with her when she calls back for I'll give her a hard time by telling her to send an invoice or literature for me to 'send' her a check instead. (which I'd never do!) lol! #notgivingmycreditcardnumber #toscammers
Yesterday they called me for the second time (first time I didn't answer) it took a couple seconds for anyone to respond. They said I won a $250 gift card for being a preferred client with visa OR MasterCard and that's how they got my information. First they tried to sell me magazines, then she transferred me to the "gift card department". The guy said all I have to pay is 9$ shipping. I told him this doesn't make sense and I'm not just going to give some random person that calls me my card info. His words, "don't worry ma'am, we work for visa and MasterCard that would be pretty stupid to run a scam, your in good hands." He also said, this isn't some person calling u from Florida to offer u a trip to the Bahamas and turns out to be fraud." And laughed. So I said what's the name of your company so I can look at your website? He said uhhh ya our website, umm... And then he hung up.
I received a call from 360-215-7321 today at 10:14 AM. A man from Publishers Clearing asked for me by my first name. Then he LAUNCHED into a speil about how I won $250 in gift cards and needed to go online to redeem them. When he FINALLY took a breath I told him to remove me from their call list. He then began to go off on me telling me that his time is valuable and he didn't appreciate me waiting so long to tell him to stop calling. THEN HE HUNG UP ON ME!
