I answered my home phone - got a message to call 360-284-4872. he said he was calling from IRS. I DID call them back. they asked for my phone # and i gave it to them. Irs is suing more over taxes. in 45 minutes an agent will come to my door and arrest me! ha! the only thing that is wierd is that they didn't ask me for any money or my social security #. I asked where he was calling from - Washington DC. heavy indian accent on both the original call and the person who I spoke w when I called them back.
I came home to a voicemail from a female voice that said the IRS was filing a lawsuit vs me and I needed to call 360 284-4872 immediately. Smelled like a scam. Did not call back.
People don't call back that number they can get more information on u. The best thing to do is not answer always use common sense it is better say than sorry. Scam scam scam scam scam scam
