Same as everyone else. I selected option 1 and talked to a person. Very vague on details and did not give any info about my acct. She gave me the following # to call back. 1-888-311-0279 x503 or x500. I verified with my bank and they confirmed it was a scam. The common routine is when you give them your info, they start a new credit line at the fixed rate, then do a balance transfer from your acct and presto, you have a fixed interest rate, but they're hoping you don't catch onto thier process which they fail to disclose. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOU INFO OR CONFIRM YOUR ACCT #'s for them; they don't have them until you confirm it/give it to them. Very shady.
I did the same thing and called it back and got the same message about having my number added to the do not call list. Dont know who/what company it was, they dont identify themselves on the recording, but entered my # and same thing, they said it would be removed within 72 hours.
