I started making a list of "garbage calls" way back in 2007. I have about a dozen pages printed out. It appears there is no way to stop these scum. I do not answer the calls any longer and have discontinued my voice mail.
Way to go--any chance of getting their physical address? I would be willing to saddle up as a posse and get em. I am retired--would be a good addition to my bucket list
Problem is is they keep calling and your answering machine keeps picking up. I finally got to the point of just turning off the answering machine. Every-time your answering machine picks up the scammers know they got a good number. If someone needs to get a hold of you they know how to do it.
Cc services "with an important message to lower your cc rates as it relates to the financial stimulus.". I am on the DNC and have filed several complaints and will continue. These folks are trying to dupe consumers and they prey on the unsuspecting by throwing out ambiguous terms. This has nothing to do with the stimulus act or any federal agency. The option was to press a number to speak with a rep and there was no option to be deleted from future call lists. I imagine the CEO rewards aggressiveness/rudeness of the reps. How very sad.
