Like a lot of the other people on here, I answer and get the recorded message that this is "the second and final notice to reduce my credit card interest rate under the federal stimulus bill..." etc, etc. I have waited for a person and asked them to take me of their call list. Everyone who calls is always polite, but obviously, I never get put on the do not call list. Several times, I held for the representative and I said "just tell me what company you are calling from"....I always get hung up on after this. I want to say they call a few times a week. I have tracked this number to a Telecom place in Marysville WA but that's all I can find for right now.
When I got one of these I pushed one and got a human. i told him to wait just a minute, that I was puttong him on hold and he said OK. I didn't put him on hold but said "Ralph, put a trace on this call. It is the scammers we have ben trying to catch" They disappered immediatly.
They keep calling me...same message about it being my final notice about my credit card (that I don't even have!). Geez! If it's my final notice, WHY do they keep calling?!!
