Never press a key to be "removed"- you are not being removed but sold to other spoofers and scammers. By pressing a key you merely verify they have a "live" number. If you think you were frustrated before.....
During the week, I just let it ring until they give up, rather than waste my cell phone minutes. Last weekend when they called I kept them on the line as long as I could. It was scary,because they knew who they were calling. I did give them an old credit card number that my credit card company already has listed as comprmised. I also told them they had the name wrong and gave them a different name. Meanwhile, I wasted about fifteen minutes of their time as I did my shopping.
Received a call before 6am PST today. Did not answer-I never answer any calls unless I know the caller.I am receiving around 15 calls a week between the land line and cellular. These calls are borderline harassment now. How can we stop it???
just got their call I asked why their number was on a web site saying they are a scam the only thing she could say is do I believe every on the net I said why would so many people say the same thing, no answer P S I do not have a credit card, and I am on the no call list
Yet another deceptive robo call deceptively trying to sound like they were my credit card company. "This is your second and final notice to lower you interest rates and payments....final notice as it relates to the financial stimulus."
The recorded message did not mention who they were.
