been 3 years plus,,getting these calls,,,number changes from time to time ,,,and yes sometimes the number is my number plus 2   ,,,,,,?,,,WONDER HOW THEY DO THAT?,,,,,this last time I called the attorney general ,,the FCC,,,,and the Federal trade commision,,,,,,,they seemed only moderately interested,,,,,,,maybe if everyone called the FBI and homeland security each time they received one of these stupid calls something would be done,,,,anyway I am going to look into putting a SIT signal on my answering machine  ( the three tone signal before a" this number no longer in service "message)  should trick their computer into removing my number from their call list

scammers,,,,,,,I searched for international telecom ltd,,,the company providing service for the 360 area code,,,,,and interesting enough ,,there is a international telecom ltd in Uganda,,,,,SURPRISE!!!,,,,,,,,I talked to the nice people up there in Washington ,and they said it is a spoof or something ,,someone stealing the call numbers for illegal purposes,,,,,above my tech knowledge,,,,,,,,one of the posts here suggest loading a SIT tone on your answering machine,,,a SIT tone is that three tone sound you hear right before the "this number is disconnected or no longer in service" message,,,,,,and should trigger their computer to delete your number,,,,,,,,,a great Idea if it works,,,google how to load a SIT tone on your answering machine,,,,,

Received a call today and a few days ago. Never picked it up. Have to assume it is the same as above.

What will it take to finally force the feds to force the phone carriers to do something about these calls? Perhaps if we all transfer the calls to Capital Switchboard in D.C. Haven't tried that one yet. Seriously, though, just don't answer unknown callers. It's a shame because sometimes it is ok to speak to someone calling. They might have something of interest to say if they are legit. But the scum of the world has to screw it  up for the rest of us.
