THIS is a SCAM. I got the call today offering me $10,000 in federal grants, but would have to provide bank account or credit card information. The number to call and collect before going to pick up the money through Western Union was 360-329-4965. Whatever. No way!
I got a call from a man saying he is from the US State Department - Washington DC, and that I was awarded a $10,000.00 grant by the govt. and that my grant reference no. is FT171. I got kinda surprised because he keep insisting for my bank account and credit card number to be able to transfer the fund to my account. he also told me to call the number 360-329-4965 to make the necessary confirmation.
