My message around 4/20/15 was from 360-967-4395 and also said I've been chosen for a federal grant of $7,000. and should call back this number from 11-7 EST. I didn't, assuming it was a scam. Glad to find this site to share info re scams. Does any govt. agency follow up to stop them and where should one report them? Info on this site would be appreciated.
I just received a call from them (304-369-6386) today. same thing that they told every here btu she didnt say that I have to pay money to receive the grant. An indian woman told me to call the 360 number and talk to Eileen. I tried to call the number and it didnt work.
They call me an told me I have been elected for a government grand total so they told I had to send 300 dollars at first and I'll received back 7300 dollars torns out they didn't it they said it hold up by the I r s so I said ok why so they I need to pay 950 more to release the money I said again ok pay the 960 I sand it with a missing letter of my name by mistake they said oh damn but it's ok just send another 960 with the hole correct spelling of your name I said ok again cause I wanted my money back so I re send another 960 again then they said ok good we all set you'll received your money in a few hours I ok thank you! Turns out again nothing no money was my account the next day I had borrow that money from a friend I called the next day I ask what happen to my money is not here in my account sir, he said to me hold on Please let put you on to the I R S I said ok sure no problem. When he put me thought another guy came on an said on sir you had been elected for the jock pot money has been increased a lot I okay thank you I hope all this is ok an I have nothing to worry I just need my now ok sir thank you. He said sure you just need to pay this amount to receive the money I said how much he said 1680 an you'll received 24,010 dollars I said again ok. Well i had borrow some money from some friends so I was trying to get it all back so i could pay back everyone i did send the money again 1680 an now am still here waiting and waiting in a little trouble with my bills an still owe my friends it is so messed up sometimes when you in need an these things happen to you an really you just trying to roles yourself out of bills an other has well I'm a good person always an always will be i don't i deserve this but at point an time i don't what to do! So of anyone an i mean anyone at all know anything that could help me with any information you know!
