Don't mess with these guys!! I own a restaurant out of West Palm Beach and a private investigator claiming he was representing "grindstone collections" walked in the other day and started taking pictures and scaring off my customers. All that for a measly $750.00 balance! I will say though, if I had a business where I had to place people to collections I'd call these guys in a heartbeat
Not sure if Bill trolls this site or if it's an ex employee who wrote that but.. We would never send a private investigator out on a $700 account. A pi charges $250 per hour. We only get paid if we collect. Our rates range from 33%-15%...this just would simply not make business sense.
However your link is citing "consumer" collection laws and regulations... "business debt" is not the same as consumer.
