Received a message from them saying
"Fwd;Fwd:February only weRmp3.com has music for only 8cents a song! Over 5 Million songs to choose from! Go now weRmp3.com! Better than iTunes & works w/ipod"
Received an unsolicited text message on my cell phone from this number which shows to be in Vancouver, WA. It just rings when I call it. The text message was a music site to download tunes, www.weRmp3.com, and stated that if I wanted to "opt out" to go on the site. Well, to "opt out" you have to download 3 tunes and then the site will allegedly "opt out" your mobile phone. I found that the company is in Ebene, Mauritius, an island in the Indian Ocean. It appears they are subtle scammers!!!! How the heck did they get my cell number anyway? I am on the Do Not Call registry.
Got an unsolicited text message on my unpublished verizon cell phone trying to get me to join a mp3 download service called weRmp3.com. Tried going to the website to complain / opt out, but can't do anything unless you have your cookies enabled (NOT GOING TO ENABLE COOKIES!!!). Here is the number they used to send the text message from: 360-936-4565
