I got a call from this number.......They played a recorded message (with a boat horn in the background) saying that I won 2 free cruise tickets, all I had to do was answer 10 questions.....that's when I hung up.
I get these calls once a week and have been for about 2 years now on my cellphone. Different numbers usually, but same area code. When you try calling the number back you get the 'busy' noise. I picked up only on time and it was that cruise survey BS. What I don't get is how they get my number? I only text/call family and friends... since I use my work number as my main contact.
The movie theater was the wrong target. They were innocent. It should be the telemarketers then blow up those automated calling machines like asking to complete a survey to get some fake free cruise. Random targets are no good. Some of those automated calling machines are vital. Like Reverse 911 calls. I have even received those calls when heat crisis and they tell us where we can go for help. But Mass Marketing calling machines and telemarketers unsolicited should Burn in Hell.
What is it with Washington? Seems like every grimy telemarketing call I get is from this region. Must be like an underworld for sales misfits. Anyway, I'm getting calls from this number, again. I survived a three month round of calls from these people, but then they backed off. Now they're onto me again. Please make it stop.
