I got a call from this number.......They played a recorded message (with a boat horn in the background) saying that I won 2 free cruise tickets, all I had to do was answer 10 questions.....that's when I hung up.
Got call on my cell phone, no voice mail. When I called back I just got a busy signal. When they call back, and they will, I'll just hit buttons repeatedly to deafen them.
Apparently something was passed where cell phone numbers have gone public to telemarketing companies. You can prevent them from calling by adding your number to the National Do Not Call list. You can do this by calling 888-382-1222 from your cell phone (the phone u want to keep them from calling.). This blocks them from calling for 5 years, and then you'll have to do it again. I was unaware of this until I was called and told my wife about it. She forgot to tell me that she received an e-mail at work regarding all cell phones going public and how to remove ur number from their list( as mentioned above.) She works for the government, so this should solve ur problem of receiving calls from these scamming [***]. :)
