I got a call from this number.......They played a recorded message (with a boat horn in the background) saying that I won 2 free cruise tickets, all I had to do was answer 10 questions.....that's when I hung up.
Recieved the call - telemarketer for sure. I added them to my contacts in my phone and blocked the call - I will not be interrupted by them again. This is my standard practice for this type of unrequested call.
I have been receiving calls from this number almost everyday for a week now.
I am outside of the US a lot, that means that everytime these a**holes call me, regardless if I answer or not i get charged for roaming ( apparently just the fact that the phone rings activate the roaming) anywhere from 1.50$ to over 3$ depending on the country where I am when they call me.
I just called t-mobile which is my provider and the only option to avoid these charges is to block the number, which will cost me 4.99$ a month....
It's not much compared to what I would have to pay if these f***ers keep on calling me while abroad, but why do I have to pay even 1c for the right not to be bothered?
Can anyone o anything about it?
I think there is enough evidence To shut these clowns and their sh**y horn down!
So pissed off right now.
Just got a call from this number and decided to call back, call ends suddenly. Also went to www.FCC.gov and sorry looks like a fake page set up. The actual site is the following:
