Calls and asks if I have $3,000 in debt. When I asked what company I was speaking to, a woman name RACHEL hung up on me! Shame on you scammers! What you are doing is illegal Rachel!
After numerous calls that I never answered, I decided to start answering them to ask them to remove me from the list. I tried again today. I said "How can I be removed from the list"..her answer "You can't." Nice....so it's ok to continue calling me for no reason.
They won't take your name off their list because they don't have a list. They are using illegal ROBO-Dialers to call EVERY NUMBER in sequence. They don't care if you're on the DO NOT CALL list because they are criminals and they don't obey the law.
I have put these numbers into my PHONE TRAY computer program block list. This will hang up on them when they call me. They'll just call again from ANOTHER number, that's true, but for a little while I won't have to hear from them.
You'd think the police, fire and district attorney would go after them (since they're calling EVERY phone number, they MUST be calling the police and fire on their non-emergency numbers), but this scam must be untraceable. Otherwise people in power would put an end to this nonsense.
To block numbers on your CELL PHONE, put the offending phone number into your phone book and set the ringer to NONE or OFF. The next time they call you the phone won't ring. At least they won't waste your minutes. You won't even know that they've called.
