Calls and asks if I have $3,000 in debt. When I asked what company I was speaking to, a woman name RACHEL hung up on me! Shame on you scammers! What you are doing is illegal Rachel!
The Do Not Call list is worthless. Send a complaint to the FCC, if they get enough complaints, they will act: https://esupport.fcc.gov/ccmsforms/form1088.action?form_type=1088B
BTW, the DoNotCall site is warning about scammers calling claiming to be from the DoNotCall Registry. This is posted on their site:
Scammers have been making phone calls claiming to represent the National Do Not Call Registry. The calls claim to provide an opportunity to sign up for the Registry. These calls are not coming from the Registry or the Federal Trade Commission, and you should not respond to these calls. To add your number to the Registry you can call 888-382-1222 from the phone you wish to register, or go click on “Register a Phone Number” in the left column of this page.
A recorded "Rachel" from "Cardholder Services" keeps calling, saying that there is no problem on my credit card (which one?) at this time, then claiming to offer lower interest rates. They've been doing this several times a week for at least the last year!
I want these stupid calls to cease.now and forever
Another BS phone call! Couldn't get to the phone in time & no message left on my voice mail. When I called the # back, the recording states the # is temporarily unavailable. Obviously a scammer!
