This is a telemarketing call disguised to look like a political survey. I listened to the recording long enough to hear the caller say "For answering a few questions about today's political atmosphere, you will receive a free cruise for two."
And of course then they will try to sell you something.
It's a telemarketing call in disguise to take advantage of not being able to block political calls.
Call came in this morning@948EDT to my cell phone and woke me up! I sleep late because I am up really late. I'm really tired of these type of calls waking me up .. Two mornings in a row.. from Washington state area codes! No idea who they are..This one shows Arlington, WA on caller id. I don't know anyone there. Their call is not important enough to leave a message. This is another one that I save in my contacts and set the special ringer to NO RING... that way it won't bother me again. Reporting to the DO not Call registry does no good, They just get different numbers apparently. But I keep hoping. For those that call my landline.. I have a really special treat.. I keep small canister airhorns by the phone.. It will sometimes confuse the computers.. or....<@@>
