I got a voice mail that the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me and to call back.
I called back a Indian man answered and was in a call center.
He told me I owed $2762 from taxes from 2008-2013 and I needed to pay it today or I would go to jail for 3 years. He told he check my account and knows I have that kind of money which I don't so I knew he was lying. He proceeded to tell me to not get a third party involved because it was a federal matter and t figure out how I was going to get the money today. I looked it up online and hung up.
I think its a SCAM I am pretty sure the IRS would need to give you more than 5 hours to pay anything or your in jail with no prior notice or anything.

they called me said they were the irs and they wanted to speak to name i dint know i said nope this is so and so and he said hold on in the meantime i looked up the number here i kind of knew it was a scam he comes back on the line and said sorry i had the wrong file i have you here can i have the last of your ssn i gave him a bogus 4 numbers and he says yes this is you you owe the irs on back taxes of 3100 and change and i need to pay it today so i said where do i mail the check of course he said the check will take to long we need the money today and well stop the arrest and court proceedings after he verifies my zip code he tell me i have to go to 3 stores cvs 7/11 and a walmart and buy 2 money cards from each store and load it up with 500.00 i needed a total 6 cards and call him with the numbers and he kept on repeating what i have to do at least 3 times so a good 20 minutes went by and i said give me 2 hours and ill call you back then he says no you have to stay on line with me isnt this a cell phone i told him no so he agrees i should call him back at 2pm now its 2.30 he calls me i dont pick up now its 6pm he calls me i dont pick up he calls me the following morning and i picked up now he is getting loud and i start to laugh why are you laughing and i yell out scam fool i just wanted you to get your hopes up thinking your getting 3 thousand dollars and i wasted your time and i laugh and laugh he is yelling and i laughed louder then he hung up on me wasnt that rude of him to hang up on me
