these people keep calling me and don't leave any messenger i even answer the phone and they don't say anything please put a stop to this

They call me 10x or more a day and won't stop. I have tried to get more information out of them when they call and still they keep on calling.
Let me know if you had any luck in having them stop.

I get calls from this number daily and when I answer no one comes on the line. They just hang up. Don't know who they are so I can get them to stop.

Caller ID comes up as IMPORTANT. Didn't answer.
On the do not call list. No one diabetic here. We don't answer calls we don't know.

I am an adult living with my parents.  I just got a call from IMPORTANT but answered it to vet out who it was so I could warn my parents.  First I said, hello, hello, and the first time the caller said something I couldn't understand him.  That's when I was told to "get [my Dad's name] on the phone now."  I repeated this back to him, and got a forceful "yes".  I told him he was at work (because he was, and anyone that knows him knows he is not yet retired), and I was asked "who is this?"  I asked him who he was and I got a name (I forgot it) and then he asked who I was, again.  I told him I was "someone who lived here," to which he replied I was "a lying old woman." At that point I cut him off and told him I was reporting him to the FCC and hung up.  Reading the rest of the replies I have told my parents to just not bother to answer the phone because they obviously aren't taking no for an answer.  They have been calling my parents for around 2 years, despite that my mom has mentioned repeatedly my Dad doesn't have diabestis.
