NEW A CO left a recorded message about lowering electric rates via Obama Money. You may qualify for a reduction in your electricity costs. Press 1 to claim your government (money) reduction to lower your electric rates. Heaven knows we'll need it seeing as Obama wants to necessarily skyrocket our rates. At the start of the recording it sounded like APP HEAP, Y HEAP and PIP. Sounds more like a bottom feeder scam.

www.complaintwire.org has a listing for "Card Member Services" where a few of these numbers were posted, along with many others.
Some reports say Pacifictel was on the caller ID. Others say New A Co was on the caller ID. Some say home security systems, other say consolidate or lower credit card rates/debt. Most say dead air, hang ups or something similar.

I too am registered on the do not call list so try this link. I am starting to receive a lot of calls on my cell from this number so I am about to get on this government site and report it. The last time I did that the call I reported stopped.
cant someone do something about these callers.....numerous calls with no one speaking. I am almost at the point of getting rid of my telephone to stop this BS
