Some guy called. He left a message. The message was all broken up. Said to have my attorney call him right away in a rather demanding voice. First of all if I have some kind of problem with the IRS I am sure I will get some kind of paper in the mail. Don't fall for their crap. They are just trying to get money from you. Waste of time.
Assuming from the above they are a scammer, which I knew all along. I gave them all wrong info and the googled the number right away. Have them blocked, they called my cell. My cell address and the debit cc number don't match and the card I gave them has never been activated. I had fun and wasn't doing anything at the moment.
Getting the same thing as others, multiple calls daily, no one talks when I pick up. Putting them on my block list now that I know others are getting the same thing. When you call the number the 'This number is out of service' message is not an original recording - a voicemail message or the like if I had to guess. I don't know what kind of scam they can pull by just calling and hanging up, the only thing I can gather is they can then sell you number as an active number. If you haven't yet picked up, don't!
