I played along with this @ Hole because I was aware of this scam. The guy was so bad at his job that I told him I hadn't filed taxes in 10 years since retirement so try again and he hung up. IRS doesn't make it easy to report this type of crime. Guess they don't care that people are stealing their identity. smh Number called, automated 360 566-2212 Number told to call, 360 718-9951
They left and automated message telling me to call 360 718 9951 for information. I talked to them last year, not knowing it was scam but I felt uneasy from the start. Officer "Mike Rogers" I think it was, with a heavy Indian accent. When I refused to answer a question and asked him for more information about me, he asked if I was trying to verify that he was legitimate. When I said yes, he said, "They will be over in a few minutes to arrest you." and he hung up. We never got to the point where he asked me for money, thankfully.
Received a voicemail from 360-718-9951 "informing me" that the IRS was filing lawsuit against me. It is a SCAM! I REPORTED TO THE FTC at www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov Beware! They are bad at scamming, but still be aware!
