Just received a call from 1-360-722-5909, Did not answer the phone...strange number. Yesterday, got another strange call from 1-250-412-8815, also did not answer. Made some research on those numbers..
It's a big scam... they want to have your credit card number...Do not give them any information about you or do not give them your credit card number. Your credit card company knows all the details about you and they know your credit card number...So you are not supposed to give them these informations!!
CRTC in Canada are aware of these scams phone numbers, but for now..cannot do a *** thing.
I have gotten a call from this number a few times, but each time I answer, whoever is on the other side just hangs up. I don't get it. WHO are these people calling??
I received a call just now and pressed 1 to speak live to someone...got a woman on the line who refused to put me through to a supervisor unless I confirmed I was being charged high interest rates...I refused and finally she said fine she would put me through ..she hung up is what she did!
I am on a do not call registry....and I have complained to Plantec (?) for some of the annoying calls...
fortunately I bought a new cordless phone that allows you to block callers..guess what number is being added....
i run a business so i get calls on my mobile that i do not know so i answered and heard a recording saying that i can get my credit card interest rate lowered. knew it was false since i do NOT have a credit card, pushed 1 to talk to the "operator" and mentioned to them that i am on a no call list and they are in violation of it. this is harrassment. she hung up on me immediatly
This is the 3rd time this number has shown up on my phone in the past few months. After reading some of the posts it appears it is yet another solicitation call from some scum bag so called business.
Can't these people find honest work which actual promotes gorwth in this country?? WTF over.
