our line is private!!! how do they get our number?

War dialing. Pre-recorded message about stimulus funds to reduce credit card debt. No company name, recorded name is "Annie". Obvious SCAM.
Return number is 877-282-3707. Sure wish there were authorities who dealt with this. I am sick of these calls on my business line.

Called me just now as well.  I wish we could follow up with this.  This must obviously be a scam.

Apparently we can register our cell phones now for a do not call list. CNET says:

Calling a telephone registered on the Do Not Call list can open a telemarketer to a fine of up to $500 for each call, which triples to $1,500 if the telemarketer can be shown to have deliberately skirted state and federal anti-telemarketing laws.

Call offered to lower my credit card rate to 6.5%.  Not sure who they are or how "they" as a 3rd Party could do such a thing.  I suspect a scam.
