This number called me and said the it's is filing a lawsuit against me. They wanted to know how I was going to resolve this matter and that I could go to jail
This number levt a nsg, that I should call them back immediately- Part of the message was clipped, so all I heard was to call this number back immediately- which I did, I got a lady who hung up on me, and when I tried a 2nd time, no answer.
Message left saying that we were facing lawsuits from the IRS. the phone number 360-780-3756 was the same as the one on caller ID. Call came from "Forks"
i got the clipped message too. Just to call their dept number immediately. I never calls number back tht I don't know who it is unless they leave a message. Even then I don't unless I am familiar with the caller or company I do business with. Sometimes even if you don't reach someone when you call back they will know yours is a legitimate number and can call back or sell the number to another scam artist.
This is an IRS SCAM do not call back or give out personal information. Report this number to your local police if you have been called. And report it as well to TIGTA.gov / Go to RED link on right of screen called IRS IMPERSONATION SCAM REPORTING to make a report.
Full-blown felony scam, with not-so-smart criminals making the outrageous claim that they are the IRS about to take you to court. This is irrational and ludicrous in so many ways, but people are falling for it. This is a serious scam, so report it to your Attorney General, the FTC and FBI even though its a spoofed number.
