a different number called me and said call this number to claim my money, i was selected to recieve a 8000 grant and calling this number would give me the info i needed to get my "8000" grant money. Scam ! lady was not american
I got this call this morning from an "unknown" number. She knew my street address, city and zip code. She said I was selected because I have no criminal record, no bankruptcy, and owe no taxes to the IRS. One of these is NOT true. I actually DO owe the IRS. DING, DING, DING! Bells and red flags all over the place! So I looked up the call back number and, sure enough, SCAM!
I received the same call and the lady barely spoke English the scary part is, is they have all of our information. This needs to be stopped. The part where I thought this was a scam was the person could not be understood and when I kept saying what? And what is this about ? You can tell by her tone she was getting angry.
This guy keeps calling me and he knows my personal info trying to give me 10K Free money. We have told him we are on the do not call list and he repeatedly ask why we don't want him calling us. If he calls one more time we are going to file a police report for harassment. Pass along the message this is a huge scam. The number comes in unknown then we got the phone # out of him to call and claim our 10,000. The # is 360-780-3796. We did not call the number we goggled it.
