I've been getting these calls alot lately, I usually ignore them but thus time I was tired of them calling and wanted to see what they wanted. I answered say hello several times before I finally got an answer. The guy had an accent, possibly Asian. He told me I won an $8000 grant from the government. I said I'm not interested. He paused then said "Oh my god! You don't want 8 grand from the Government? What's wrong?!" I instantly hung up. That reaction irritated me! Leave me the [***] alone you scammer
So Scammy!!! First of all the US government is NOT going to outsource a call center to harass US Citizens with promises to give us free money for being good people. I asked politely to be removed they kept calling, I played along (giving fake info) in hopes they would stop calling and that didn't work, I threatened harassment and they don't care, they kept calling. I did have some fun being just as nasty and shi++y on the phone as they are and that didn't work either. Ive blocked all the numbers they call from. I pitty the person who falls for this because it screams scam from the minute you answer the phone. Now if I can keep these idiots from calling me from a different number. It was fun though asking if I could motor boat his mommy :)
