They called me on my cell and left a message to call, claiming to be IRS. When I called there was music for awhile. Then someone from the middle East said he was with the IRS and had a case against me for the years 2010-2014. He said I owed $5765. He claimed they sent me a notice and proceeded to read it. When I said that I would make phone calls and talk to my attorney he threatened that this needed to be taken off immediately or the local authorities would be sent to my house. He did have my address. He said his name was Kevin Cooper and badge was 78625. He also gave me a case number. He kept wanting me to settle without going to court. I didn't let him try to settle I just said I would make phone calls. He said when the call was done he would notify the state's attorney's office and local authorities to come to my address to arrest me. After the call I went to IRS website and reported the scam.
This same #360-787-9617 call me for the last month or so, and left a message a audio message that I owe the IRS money. This is a scam, I called them back a guy spoke in Middle Eastern accent and I hung up. Please be aware of this SCAM never give them any information unless you know for sure you owe the IRS money.
Kept getting calls, claiming to be the IRS, after I informed him that I worked for the IRS, got ugly, started calling me names and threatening me. Now the tables are turned, I call the number make sure they answer and just sit my phone down. Least they are leaving one person alone if I'm tying up one line.
