I got a recorded message from 360 787 9617.
They claim to be the IRS and have a law suit against me and ask me to call them back.
When you call there's piano music, nobody answers.
Call saying there were charges pressed against me. So before anything goes wrong or before we tracked down your case file to your local Police Dept. to get rested on these charges. ( Their wording.) I want you to call us back as soon as possible at my get department call back number 360-787-9617. This is Tom White from the Ivestigation Dept at the Internal Revenue Service.
I received the same call about 30 minutes ago and have received the same call/story (voicemail only - I don't answer) from other numbers. Today's call was made by a woman and she didn't have an accent. Other calls from other phone numbers were from men with middle eastern sounding accents.
I get the same call daily with the exact words as Jill H. stated. The IRS will not call you. This is a scam, do not respond, just hang up. Do not give out any personal information or pay any money
