Received first call from 360-807-5350 @ 10:30AM today, let my answer machine pick up,claiming same as other posts that it is the IRS and they are going to file a lawsuit against me and I need to call back immediately. Didn't call back but got another call @ 12:49PM from 206-257-7086 IRS officer John Ratzer, saying I needed to contact him immediately. Both callers spoke English well without any accents. Both area codes are Western WA state, including Seattle. Figured it had to be a scam, since IRS would first send out a letter if there were any problems with my previous returns, which there aren't and I just mailed my 2014 return today. My thanks to all the others who have posted their comments.
Received an automated message stating that I was being sued by the IRS and I needed to call them back. I was watching the local news tonight and the reporter stated that this is a scam and should be reported to the police and to the Attorney General office. I have done both.
