Similar experience as others here. 360-807-5520 left a message saying the IRS was filing a law suit against "You".
For those who don't know, the IRS would never leave a blind message like this. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!
I received a call from 360-807-5520 on April 16, 2015 claiming they are from the IRS and have a lawsuit against me. It was on my answering machine. When I was looking the number up on-line they called again but said nothing and hung up on me.
Received a call from this phone # today 5:44pm EST while I was at work. Recorded message said I was being sued by IRS. My first thought was "yeah, right!" Where are the legal documents that I'm sure would be sent out if this were true. Total SCAM! Don't fall for it.
received a call telling me that urgent to send $1986.73 for IITS Audit for years 2018 to 2013. I played along. Was to go to bank and withdraw..told them banks were closed(time difference from where she was)..then go to Wal Mart and use debit card. I told her no debit card..the Wal Mart would take credit card. Go there immediately and use cell phone while there and she would give instructions...In questioning her she told me to google the name of Monica H Davy.I did, and she is there and this person said that was her!! At this point I blocked phone number. She then evidently tried to call and I saw another number she used 202 241 6743
So sick of people trying to get something for nothing. This was a computerized call claiming to be IRS filing lawsuit against me (us). Second attempt. Must be getting desperate. I called back trying to tell someone I was contacting authorities to file complaint against them. Wouldn't you know...no answer. Hope this post helps some elderly from losing money. :(
