Got a call from this number ?? I didn't answer but they left a message saying they were IRS and I was under investigation and that my property and assets were going to be seized and there was a warrant for my arrest . To call them back. I didn't call them back because I know I file my taxes every year. I don't owe IRS anything. I knew it was a scam! I had a call last year from a different number and it was the same scam. Not falling for it.
Thanks guys! Got a partial voicemail (automated) that I & my property are under surveillance for tax fraud. Funny, the call came from Shelton, WA but the IRS regional office is in Cincinnati... Carrier is Peerless Network, will report to them.
Same kind of call. I have very well credit, never owe anything. That call got me pissed. I called back the guys answered the phone got blasted by me lol
This is a SCAM. Do not answer or call back and most definitely, do not give them any information. The IRS does not call you. If the IRS does contact you, it is via mail sent to your house. This happened last year to me with another phone number and it was the "Breaking News" story overseas where hundreds were arrested in an IRS Scamming Scheme. Be smart, don't answer calls when you don't know who is calling.
