Got a call from this number ?? I didn't answer but they left a message saying they were IRS and I was under investigation and that my property and assets were going to be seized and there was a warrant for my arrest . To call them back. I didn't call them back because I know I file my taxes every year. I don't owe IRS anything. I knew it was a scam! I had a call last year from a different number and it was the same scam. Not falling for it.
Same here. Recorded voicemail about IRS and property and warrant. IRS will typically warn you in writing before doing anything. Been there done that and paid my debt.
Yep another one of those IRS scams. Yet people do fall for them. My accountant told me she had a client call her in a panic. Usually the elderly who get scammed.
Received a voicemail from this number that was a pre-recorded message stating that it was about an IRS Tax Fraud Case and that the IRS has issued an arrest warrant for me and that all my assets and property are being monitored. Then they request a call back to this number before "they proceed with the warrant"
Sating that IRS has filed charges against me and that I should return the call before action is taken. Called twice and left automated message both times.
