Scam artists. They pretend to be IT technicians and claim your pc has a virus so they can instruct you to install spyware and other nasty malware/spam/viruses on your computer, then steal your personal information and try to access your bank accounts. Avoid calls at all costs. They are not Apple. They are not Microsoft. And those companies will never know if you have a virus, unless you tell them you have one. They do not call and ask to have access to your computer EVER.
woman called (has some kind of nigerian accent) said they were calling me about my computer problem. i told them i do not own a computer and to not call again as this is about the 10th time receiving a call from them.
