"Brian" with an East Indian accent claims that my personal computer is denying Windows updates. He called my work number and never verified my name. When he offered to call back at a more convenient time, I said that I would call him. He then abruptly hung up.
This person has called several times foreign lady or man keeps telling me my Windows computer has issues! I told them to take me off the list and they got really crappy and kept telling listen to me I told them to listen close and slammed the dang phone down on them!!
Rc'd call on Sat. 1/7/2016, from CallerID name "Dir Asst Tx", PhoneNo 361-555-0171". Could barely understand him due to the noise in background but said his name was Tom & his voice/accent sounded as if he was from India.He tried to be very controlling, raising his voice at me & downright mean. He stated my Windows based PC was sending error messages to Microsoft & he tried to get me to go to website Expertrinsupport.com so he could "check my PC errors". After much difficulty understanding him & had him repeat quite a lot of what he was saying, I told him I am a retired programmer after 37yrs working for Federal Gov't & that I would not do anything a person from an Incoming call told me to do & that I will contact the company that loaded my virus software of this issue, he was nicer and agreeable & I then had no problem getting him off the phone.
