Surveyors, Religious Groups, and Political Organizations fall into a very convenient loophole that gives them complete immunity from having to adhere to any regulations set forth by the DO NOT CALL Registry, so reporting them "aint gonna do [***]"
I wish I had the software/hardware that 900 numbers use to slap a consumer's phone bill with whopping fees for calling their so called 900 number service, because I turn around and use it to bill these pricks that call my cell phone numerous times during the day or night. Sweet revenge it would be!!! Not to mention an excellent source of secondary income paid for by the very people who are trying to scam you in the first place.
It is a phone robot.. They call currently listed numbers on their data-base to see what time you will answer.. (that is why no one is on the other end until the second time you answer).. In other words, the first call is made by a phone robot to see when their scummers can reach you at this number... If you answer the robot at 7:oo on tuesday, you will get a call from a person at 7:oo on Wednesday....
Received a call from this number on 8/21/2013 at 7:13 PM. It was a short survey (from someone with a thick accent that was somewhat difficult to understand at times) that asked for my age range, if I was Democrat or Republican, and if I agreed with ObamaCare. Better than trying to sell me a cemetery plot...or a "free cruise."
