SSI independent survey sampling. They did not leave a message, but when I called back to check it out, they referred me to their website to take surveys @ www.surveysampling.com promising to keep my info secure... website looks legit just by looking, but they did not leave a message on my phone and there is no way to get a hold of a real person.
I do not trust this number as I never subscribed to them in the first place.
If you do a 'whois' on the website it is registered in England. Web sites been around for a while. There is a surveysampling (dot) CO that's based in Utah. Area code 385 IS in Utah. That's about all I can really tell you. Myself, I don't like the idea of entering in personal information on a web site registered to a foreign country.
I just got a call from this number. After I answered, there was a few-seconds pause before a person came on so I knew I was about to get telemarketed or surveyed.
When the person came on she said "Hello, my name is Paige and I'm calling on behalf of Petco."
I said "Hi, Paige."
And then she hung up on me. I like Petco as a company. But I'm not fond of telemarketers or phone surveys so I consider myself fortunate "Paige" hung up on me instantly, wasting very little of my time.
