They are now calling me on a bill that I ve already paid. They call me every day threating me and have sent me email of documents toto sign and send back.
just got a call saying 2 counts of fraud are attached to my social security number. gave me a case number and a phone number to call back. Called the same number that called me and asked what was the name of the company. Guy copped an attitude and said who am i speaking to, i said i called you not the other way around so what company is this and the man hung up. I called back and got the same guy, told him i got a phone call and he asked for a case number. I said i didn't have one, he couldn't find me in the system because when they called they asked for a person that doesnt exist. my full first name and the last name of my ex- girlfriend is who they called for and it didnt make any sense to me. I am notifying the police about this, if i get another call im filing charges against harassment for their company. this [***] needs to stop!
Yep same way they acted towards me. I did notify the police , but they told me that there is so much of this stuff happening that its hard for them to stop it. These jerks know it too that's why they don't stop. It's frustrating!!!
This number called my mother saying they'll reach me at my work or home something about a warrant . Really!! If there was a warrant they would have already arrested me. Do these people speak English as I didn't hear the message myself.
Yes it's just the same standard phone call to everyone all they change is the names. I blocked their number so they can't call anymore. Even though you know it's a scam it's still stressful hearing the phone calls and feeling like there is nothing you can do to make them stop calling. So I figured if I blocked the number I couldn't hear their BS and it wouldn't bother me as much.
I just received a message on my phone--part of it sounded like a recording and I could barely understand the case number. woman said she was from the "processing summons department." I called back and talked to a man who got snippy with me when I asked him for his name and address. I could not seem to get any legimitate information from him--he did not have my address either, but he did have my email address and he knew the name of my bank. I told him to send me an email providing his company name and address so I could include the company in my bankruptcy filing. He said he couldn't do that which was strange. The gist of his message seemed to be that I could either settle my account over the phone now or be served with court papers. I think I may file a complaint with the Federal Trade commission as this definitely seems fraudulent.
By the way, has anyone ever been served papers by this company or person? I am pretty sure it was a scam.
