They are now calling me on a bill that I ve already paid. They call me every day threating me and have sent me email of documents toto sign and send back.
one call yesterday, the same recorded voice today. Yesterday's call was from number 401-223-3265 and had a different "case number". Today's call was from the 385-232-7246. I called the 385-232-7246 and got a real person....once I gave them the case number (from today's recorded message), she wanted to verify my social security number, and I think expected me to just give it to her! I told her to cut the sh*t and quit calling me at work or at home. I don't expect it to stop. We actually had to file bankruptcy a month ago, so if it turns out to be one of our creditors, they are violating much more than just the collection laws.
What's interesting is that the 401 area code is Providence, Rhode Island and the 385 area code is Utah! So I notice that a lot of folks on this page area citing "A&G" as the caller. I don't even know this company! I did a little research and found a company called A&G Adjustments ... they are a commercial debt collection agency and their website even states "Our professional recovery team works diligently to turn past due receivables into cash flow that can be reinvested toward your business growth." Professional! That's hilarious.
I had a police officer come to my home and he said the problem is so big and wide spread that there isn't much they can do. He said my problem would be documented and gave me the www. IC3 website to file a report. He advised me to block each number they call me on and to not give them any information. I filed a report with the FTC online and they weren't much help either telling me to try to contact the business and work it out!! What!!! Their scammers!!!! Why would I contact them? These people are pond scum!! I hope that some how they are stopped and prosecuted.
I looked up the 385 area code and to be specific it said salt lake city utah, i called the police there and it was received by a dispatcher there.They asked me the phone number and i gave them it and told them the name of the company that i was told.They replied that that is not the registered bussiness but would not say anything else.I explained that i have filed a complaint with Ic3 fbi,and a couple of other agencies.My question would be with all this internet stuff that there using (homeland security) Then why is it so hard to get these scumbags.What in the hell are we paying taxes for!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've gotten 2 calls from this number, same message - I'm being served a summons, I forfeit my rights, they will contact my HR dept to process the service on the property, etc and so forth. What they are saying is illegal. If you do call them back, ask them what court they plan on filing this "complaint" in, I can guarantee they have no clue. They are ridiculous.
They are calling from 1(855)767-3822 now. The name on the caller ID says the ring group. Same threats now an "inspector green" is calling because of the fraud. If we don't respond by 6 they are dispatching the sheriffs department and we have been notified. I think I'm going to have to change my number. I get a call at least once a week from a different number. I have filed reports with police, FTC, IC3, BBB. These people are relentless!!
