The calls are starting to happen on a daily basis late at night and early in the morning. I sent Time Warner and E-mail to complain. Lets see what happens.
If you call them back at 386-267-1892, you will get a recording saying you received this call on behalf of your cable or phone provided, it will give you the option to press 1 to be removed from their calling list. Once you press one, don’t hang up right away, it will wait a minute and then prompt you to put in the area code and phone number that you want removed, once you do this it will then confirm that number has been removed, I haven’t gotten anymore calls since I did this, but I will post again if I do.
To the people saying they are on the Do Not Call list, you should know that if you have business with a company, they can call you even if you are on that list. You also have to reapply to the list every so often, you can even get taken off the list if you enter your phone number on a sweepstakes for that company and any other company they are associated with. I used to work as a telemarketer for a month (and felt dirty for doing so), which is where I found out about all the loopholes in the law.
