I've just been on the phone to 3 TECHNICAL SUPPORT for about half an hour and their suggestion is that I 1. Restore my handset as it could be the iPhone. 2. See if it happens again. 3. If it does phone the Police and report it to them.
Its an absolute joke. As an IT Test Analyst after changing from O2 to 3 after about 5 years with O2 and never having such a call to now coming onto the 3 Network and within my first month having this and 3 say its nothing to do with the Network. I, at work, would always look at what is the difference between before the problem arose and since the problem arose. The only change is that I've gone onto 3 Network.
My advice is avoid 3 as even if it is not a network issue their lack of understanding and interest is frighteningly poor customer service. Go elsewhere you get better service.
3 Network claim that they are only aware of one other instance of this being reported which I doubt as this thread has been used since July 2012 so I guess I'm not only the second to report it. I'd like proof to go back to them to prove they are incompetent and liars.
My concern is getting my contract cancelled as if this is proven then they cannot offer an acceptable level of security of not only my number but also of my personal details. If so then I honestly do not want to be part of the 3 Network any more. I have only been with 3 for one month of a 24 month contract. Think of the damage that could happen in 2 years if this is their actions after 1 month?
Hi, I am also a three customer living in the UK. Whoever thi is is driving me mad! The same number as all of you. The best thing to do is put the number on your black list and it will ban all the calls. This is what I have done.
I have the same issue.......When someone has left me a message on my voicemail, my voicemail rings me, the missed call log diverts to the 386 423 6245 number if i use the redial function!!
