Just get a good call blocking app. I use extreme call blocker, it is awesome. You can block 1 number or every number in that area code by using wild cards. I've been using it for a couple years. I personally block every number not in my contacts, if I want to talk to someone that got blocked I'll call them back. I have zero patience for BS calls.
