Received a call from this number telling me it was the last courtesy call I would get from them- and to push 1 to talk to someone. I pushed one and was disconnected. When I called the number back, it was disconnected or not in service.
A recorded message saying something about "we have tried several times to contact you regarding your credit card account." Then the message said to press 1 to speak to the financial department or 2 to discontinue the offer.
I just nearly the exact same conversation as AKP did on Aug 22, 2008. I presses one and this chick asked if a I was calling about a credit card offer. Unfortunately I was getting a call waiting blip that interrupted our words. She did say that she was from Financial Services. I asked her name first thing, which may have caught her offguard. She said Brandy. Then she asked my my name and phone number and I told her she should know as she called me. She said "Fine" or something short & sweet like that. (I actually started to give her my number, DUH, but I was thinking maybe it was for me...) And SHE hung up! Anyhow, you can't call the number back and the listing I got was this website/forum.
