I used to have fun with these callers too.  Unfortunately, actually answering the phone puts a target on your back as a "live" person, and generates even more calls.

Declined call on my cell phone due to unknown area code. Called right back. Declined again. Called right back. Now blocked.

Got a call from this number an hour and a half ago. Seems to happen every few weeks now. Unanswered and no voicemail. I will be blocking this number.
