Another VOIP phone line spamming my phone! The madness will never end so it's just another number to add to my PrivacyStar block list. No message left. Caller ID just says it's from Rhode Island. My blocked list is getting longer every day! If you don't have the PrivacyStar app, get it! It is sooooo worth it!! It will automatically block calls that are on the SPAMMER list.
Gary, you are correct. These are not people dialing phone numbers, the calls are made by computers. The computer dial numbers sequentially, so it does not make any difference if you are on the Do Not Call list. If the companies making these calls were legitimate businesses, they would subscribe to the Do Not Call list and not be calling people on the DNC list. Ahhh, the joy of modern technology!
I recieved phone call today at 10 am. Picked up since it is a business phone even though I do not have customers in RI. No one there, just a hang up after saying hello a couple of times. I hope it is not one of those automated callers testing phone numbers because then I am going to get even more spam calls from whoever they sell my phone number to. UGH.
